1. Herb selection: Different medicinal plants are selected based on the individual’s unique health status and dosha (constitution).

2. Medicated powder preparation: The herbs are dried, powdered, and mixed to make a medicinal mixture. These powders are typically boiled or fried with herbal oils or ghee to enhance their medicinal qualities.

3. Applying: After that, the herbal powders are wrapped in little cotton bags or poultices known as “pindas.” These pindas are heated and massaged all over the body, paying special attention to certain areas or joints. The therapist may use extra warm herbal oils throughout the massage.

4. Duration:
Treatment lasts 35 to 40 minutes, depending on the patient’s health. The course therapy lasts 7 to 14 days, depending on the patient’s health.
